Dragon Ball X Chapter 23- A New Battle Begins

"Do you really think I'll agree to something like that?" Zero asked. "I'm a Z warrior. I protect the innocent and destroy evil. I will never aid a villain such as yourself!"

Enerjor sighed. "That's fine. It wasn't exactly you I was asking anyway. I was asking your inner Enerjor. But it doesn't matter." Enerjor appeared in front of Zero. "I'm sure you already know, if a saiyan kills an enerjor, they gain their powers. However, what is to happen if an enerjor kills another enerjor?" He picked Zero up by the neck and began to choke him. "The answer is simple. The one who kills the other gets a massive power boost. So I'm fine with killing you!"

"Get away from him!" Page screamed as she kicked Enerjor across the face, making him drop Zero. "I won't allow you to hurt my boyfriend!"

"Hmm... You must be his so-called 'girlfriend'... Maybe I should kill you first. After all, I want to hear 'his' opinion on joining me. After all, Zero does seem to be most protective of you." He began to walk towards her...

Only to get a foot to the face by Drew. "You're not laying a finger on my new friends!" He ripped off his suit, and underneath was his gi.

"Oh, you did that too?" Koozan asked as he ripped his suit off, and was now in his gi.

"Hell yeah! You gotta be ready for a fight at all times!"

"I couldn't agree more," Appura said as she took off her weighted spiked bracelets and anklets.

"Lets get him!" Pan yelled as they all transformed into their most powerful forms and rushed at him. They all attacked him from every angle, only for him to block every attack. They all jumped back and began to charge up their most powerful ki attacks. "Kamehameha!" Pan yelled.

"Chaotic comet!" Drew yelled.

"Dragon cannon!" Koozan yelled.

"Nebula Burst!" Zero yelled.

"X strike!" Page yelled.

"Star shatterer!" Appura yelled.

"Oh, I see what you're doing. HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT!"

The Z warriors all shot their attacks at Goku's counterpart. When the dust cloud that had formed cleared, it was revealed that Enerjor wasn't harmed at all. His clothes were a little torn up, but nevertheless, he was fine.

"I think you burned part of my gi. How rude. Please tell me you all weren't using your full power."

"Hmph," Zero said. "You caught us. We only used thirty percent of our power. You've gotten a lot stronger since we fought last, but that doesn't matter. Theres six of us and only one of you! You're outnumbered!"

"Frieza's army outnumbered me by millions, yet their corpses now lie on the remains of what was once a populated planet. Numbers don't scare me at all. In this battle its you that should be cowering in fear of me. Not the other way around. By the end of this, you'll be just like the Frieza soldiers. I am invincible."

"That's it!" Appura yelled. "I've had enough of your s***, asshole! Ivy Tangle!" She created vine-like ki, and whipped it at her opponent. The ki wrapped around his body as though it was strangling him.

"Vines? How weak do you think I am?"

"Why you... If I had a d***, this is where I'd tell you to suck it! This is my Ivy Tangle technique! It can cut, burn, and strangle any opponent it wraps around. Say your prayers, you demon!"

The vines began to strangle him. "Hmm. I'm kind of impressed kid. You actually managed to bring me to a complete stop."

"Oh really? No s*** Sherlock Holmes!"

"However, as I already said, I'm invincible. And invincible..." The vines snapped off of him. "Means nobody can stop me!"

"What!? Impossible!"

"Hey Enerjor!" Zero said as he flipped him off. "Over here! Its me you want, right!?"

"What is that idiot doing?" Appura asked.

"Its ok," Pan whispered to her. "While you were strangling Enerjor, Koozan and Zero came up with a plan. While Zero distracts him, Koozan charges his ultimate attack to its maximum from the sky. If he ends up missing, he'll change its direction. Lets hope this works."

"Dragon..." Koozan chanted as quietly as possible as he charged his attack in the air.

'Fools,' Enerjor thought to himself. "Do they really think I don't know what they're doing?"

"CANNON!" Koozan yelled, shooting his attack.

Enerjor quickly grabbed Zero and threw him upwards. "Meat shield!" Enerjor yelled.

The blast collided with Zero and sent him to ground. Fortunately Koozan was able to power it down so he wouldn't die. "Oh god!" Zero yelled in pain. "Oh god, it burns!"

"Whoops..." Koozan said.

"WHOOPS!? ARE YOU FREAKING FOR REAL!?"

"Hey man. In my defense, this was your plan, and it was pretty poorly planned out."

"SCREW YOU, DUDE!"

Enerjor sighed. "I was hoping this fight would last a little longer. Oh well. I guess I'm just too strong." He walked over to Zero. "This is the end for you, Zero."

"No. It isn't. Even if we don't defeat you, someone stronger will defeat you someday!"

"Oh? And tell me. How are you supposed to even hurt a god?"

"Like this," a new voice said as a fist collided with Enerjor's face.

Enerjor was knocked to the ground. "What the... Who was that!?"

"Hey there," the man who punched him said. "Its been a while."

"No way..." Zero said.

"I see you've broken your promise and used my powers for evil. And here I was thinking you could be trusted."

"Wait a second," Enerjor said. "I remember you now. You're the saiyan I met in the dead zone. You're Tearic Lychee!"

"Yes, it is I. Now tell me. You desire a challenge, do you not?"

"It's the only thing I want more than absolute power."

"What if I were to tell you these six warriors can give that to you?"

"If you were to say that, I would ask how."

"Well, I'm sure you know of the Room of Spirit and Time, right?"

"You mean the Hyperbolic Time Chamber?"

"Shut up, we are not arguing about what the name is. I can take these kids to it and train them. After by training with me, they'll be able to put up a fight."

"I see... I'll give you three days. In the meantime, I'll be waiting here." He sat down.

Tearic nodded. "Zero," he said. "Do you have enough energy to use instant transmission?"

"Y-yes sir."

"Good. Everybody get over here! Zero's gonna teleport us all to Dende's lookout!"

"What? Who are you and why-" Appura began to question him.

"No time! Just get over here!" Everybody sighed. They gathered around Zero and disappeared.

"Train, Son Zero," Enerjor said. "Your life depends on it. Give this universe the end it deserves!"

AT THE LOOKOUT

Zero, Tearic and everyone else reappeared on Dende's lookout. In front of them was Mr. Popo. "Who's the racist genie person?" Drew asked.

"Bitch, what did you just say about Popo?" Mr. Popo responded.

"I said-" Drew wasn't able to finish. He was slammed into the ground by the genie.

"Pecking order, bitch!" He looked at Tearic. "Oh, if it isn't Tearic~!"

"Wait, you two know each other?" Zero asked.

"Yeah..." Tearic said. "The Dead Zone is a link between all universes. I am as a matter of fact from this universe, even though that Goku is from another. So, when I died, I went to this universe's afterlife. Sometimes Mr. Popo-"

"Excuse me, maggot?" Popo said.

"R-right! Lord Popo comes to the afterlife and we play cards... I always lose..."

"He lets me win~"

"Why does he let you win?"

"Oh, he knows why~! That reminds me, do you have the money you owe me?"

"Yeah, don't worry, I just need a little more time."

"If I don't see it within one week, you know the punishment."

"What? Death? I'm already dead!"

"Foolish maggot. I don't kill people, I absorb them. You'll just be circling inside the abyss~"

"Creepy. Can you please tell us where god is?"

"You're looking at him."

"N-no, not you. I meant the Namekian you said you live with."

"Oh, Dende! He's inside."

"Thank you." Everyone went inside.

"Dende," Pan said to the Namekian. "Its a pleasure to see you again."

"Same to you," Dende said. "You're here for the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, right?"

"Wait, this is Earth's guardian!?" Appura asked. "This is god!? This green Martian dude is god!?" She fell over, laughing. "That's hilarious!"

Drew did the same thing.

Everyone waited until they stopped laughing and got up. "Are you done?"

"Yes, quite sorry Dende," Drew apologized.

"Good. I know why you're here. Chamber is in the back, use it at your own risk."

"Good!" Zero said. "Come on guys! Lets go!"

"No," Appura said.

"...What?" Zero asked.

"I am not moving an inch until you give us an explanation for what the hell is going on!"

"Appura, we don't have time to argue! We need to-!"

"Zero," Tearic said. "It's fine. They deserve to know what is going on. That man you fought was named Enerjor. And I am the one who gave him those powers. I was the first Enerjor."

All the Z warriors, excluding Zero, pointing their palms at him, ready to shoot ki blasts at him.

"N-no, no, no! I'm not evil like him! And besides, Zero is an Enerjor too! You trust him, don't you?"

Everyone besides Appura put their hands down. Everyone looked at her. "What? Better safe than sorry."

"Who exactly is Enerjor?" Page asked.

"Uh, do you guys remember Xicor?" Zero asked.

"Yeah," Koozan said. "The guy who killed me?"

"Yeah, well this guy is like eighty of him..."

"Oh really?" Appura asked. "No s*** Sherlock Holmes."

"Anyways, lets move on to the actual story..."

TWO HOURS LATER

"So," Koozan said. "To summarize this, you're a saiyan raised by tuffles with an artificial super saiyan god form called Enerjor, you met an alternate version of Goku in a place called the Dead Zone, you gave him your powers and died, he went insane and killed everyone, Zero came to that universe, killed him, and got his powers. Is that right?"

"In a nutshell, yes."

"Why did it take that long to explain?"

"Because Popo kept interrupting me."

"T-Tearic!" Popo said. He was either drunk or high. Maybe a mix between the two. "I don't understand! Are you cold!? Are you hungry!? Do you need a blanket or a hotdog!? Tearic, do you want hotdogs in a blanket?"

"No, Popo. I don't want a blanket, I don't want a hotdog, and if you put mustard in my f***ing sheets again, this time I'm gonna be pissed."

"Tell me this," Drew said. "If both you and this Enerjor person died, then why are you back in the living realm?"

"You have someone named Western Supreme Kai to thank for that."

Koozan's eyes widened. "Western Supreme Kai?" he asked. "The same Kaioshin that created that demon, Xicor?"

"Afraid so. She heard Zero say that his worst enemy was Enerjor. So she traveled to Namek and used the seven dragon balls. As you know, Porunga grants three wishes. She used the first to 'bring Enerjor back to life.' Because both me and him are Enerjors, we both were brought back from the dead. Then she ordered Porunga to "bring the ones he just resurrected to New Namek.' Just like before, the wish affected both me and him. We were both brought to Namek but teleported to completely different locations on the planet. Her last wish was to 'make Zero's worst enemy thirty times as strong as Zero's Enerjor Super Saiyan 3.' She found Enerjor and tried to make an alliance. He killed her and her army, and used her ship to go to Earth."

"So basically, what you're saying is, we're screwed," Zero summarized. Tearic nodded.

"Tell me, saiyan," Appura said. "How exactly did you get here?"

"I found a Namekian village. It was nearly destroyed and only one was alive. The Grand Elder. He was left alive due to the fact that the dragon balls will turn to stone if he dies. He told me what had happened. He got me a ship and sent me to Earth to stop this threat. Once we are done, he will use the dragon balls on his own planet to bring back those that were killed. Most of the villages were tricked into handing over their dragon balls, except for his. They saw through the Kaioshin's trick and refused. So they took it by force. And so I came to this planet, found you all, and you know the rest."

"So basically..."

"If we want to exterminate this threat, we need to train," Pan finished for Appura.

"Then let's get going!" Zero said.

"To the Room of Spirit and Time!" Page said.

"Don't you mean Hyperbolic Time Chamber?" Koozan asked.

"I know what I said!" They all ran to the chamber.

As they ran, Dende watched them. "The fate of not only this planet but the entire multiverse rests in their hands. We can only pray that they have luck on their side."
