Just wanted to let everyone know about a minor change. As many of you may know, this DeviantArt page is run by two different people. There is Crisis, our artist, and Vortex, the one who posts the art. To make it clearer what response is from who, we will, from this point onwards, be saying who we are. For example, if Crisis was talking,

Crisis: We’d type it like this.

For comments that reflect both of our thoughts, such as thanking for favorites, we will type normally. Thank you!

(Questions)

1.) What is your favorite fighting game? If you don't play those, say your favorite video game.

Don't even need to think about it. I've played a lot of fighting games, but I have to give it to the fighting game that got me into the genre, Skullgirls. I love this game. Squigly is my main. Second lowest tier character, my a**!

2.) Favorite Sonic the Hedgehog character?

Hmm... While Metal Sonic is starting to grow on me (Probably because of Sonic the Abridgehog), I’d still have to say Shadow the Hedgehog is my favorite character. Sure, it’s just as people say, and he’s edgy and emo as hell, but I feel he’s got a lot more complexity as a character than most others in the franchise. By the way, for those who haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend you watch Khonjin’s Competitive Review on Sonic Adventure 2. Where I once thought the story was a convoluted mess (much like everyone else), this guy goes out of his way to prove me and everyone else wrong by explaining away almost every plot hole with well constructed arguments and theories that actually make complete sense. Trust me. You’ll walk away from this video with an appreciation for the writing in SA2 that you never thought you’d have. Here’s a link:

3.) Favorite type of music?

My taste in music varies. There’s basically no genre that I don’t enjoy. However, I believe I’m much more likely to enjoy rock or metal.

4.) If you're a fan of Super Smash Bros., who do you want to be in the game next?

I’m not sure if I can really call myself a Smash fan. Sure, I love the series. When I was a kid, I think I played Melee and Brawl more than any other games. When my college set up a Wii one night with Brawl on it, I played and still had just as much fun as I did as a child. However, I have never gotten to play the games released after Brawl. I never owned a Wii U, nor did I have any friends within traveling distance who owned one, either. So, to this day, I have never in my life gotten a chance to play Smash 4. And because I don’t own a Switch, I most likely will never be playing this new one either. For the sake of this question, let's just say I am one. I'd like to see Shadow the Hedgehog, Hat Kid, and Dimentio join the fight.

5.) Favorite type of dog?

Malshi. Matese/Shitzu hybrid.

6.) If you were stuck on a desert island, what would you want to have with you?

A motorboat with enough fuel to get back home.

7.)
If you could invent a holiday, what would it be?

National JoJo’s Reference Day! Everybody strike a pose!

8.)
What would you do if you couldn't use the internet or watch TV for a month?

Get a job...

9.)
What's your favorite cartoon?

Hmm... Again, a bit of a difficult question to answer. As a child, I watched so many cartoons ranging from Chowder to Ben 10. So there are so many to choose from. Although, I’d probably have to go with Gravity Falls.

10.) Favorite movie?

Uh... Probably The Matrix.

11.) Do you have any siblings?

Yes, I have a younger sister.

12.) Least favorite subject in school?

Programming... Which just so happens to be the subject I’m majoring in...

(My Questions)

1.) What’s your favorite platforming game?

2.) Favorite Dragon Ball character?

3.) What’s your favorite Indie Game?

4.) You have a fever! What’s the only prescription?!

5.) Favorite voice actor?

6.) Favorite Band?

7.) Out of all of your OCs, which is your favorite?

8.) Which is your least favorite?

9.) Is there a manga or light novel that you really want turned into an anime? If so, what is it?

10.) Any anime that you would love to see remade?

11.) Fanservice (as in the ecchi variety). What are your thoughts on it?

12.) Least favorite cartoon?

Questions >

1.) If you had the world's attention for 30 seconds, what would you say?

“Uh... I don’t know much about politics... Go watch Khonjin House! Or... Something like that... STOP LOOKING AT ME!”

2.) If you had to work but didn't need the money, what would you choose to do?

I'd love to be an animator.

3.) If you were home on a rainy Sunday afternoon, what movie would you most want to see on television?

I’d go with any Satoshi Kon movie. Probably Tokyo Godfathers.

4.) Where do you NOT mind waiting? Are there any situations where you can't wait?

I'm fine with waiting. As long as there are reasons for why I must wait and what I'm waiting for is nothing urgent.

5.) If you were to suddenly be magically transported into any fiction universe, which one would it be?

Many spring to mind as they all bring with them people with special powers. However, most of those worlds are unsafe places I could easily die in, and the chances of me achieving the powers used by the characters are slim. I’d either go with the worlds of Fullmetal Alchemist or A Certain Magical Index.

6.) Would you rather live (Permanently) in a roller coaster park or in a zoo?

Roller coaster. Always roller coaster.

7.) If you were a superhero, what super power would you have?

Time and space manipulation sounds fun to me.

8.) Would you rather have unlimited sushi for life or unlimited tacos for life?

Depends. Does the sushi go bad? If not, I want the sushi.

9.) What's an ideal Christmas for you? (If you don't celebrate Christmas, you can choose a different holiday.)

Basically the routine I have now. Wake up, exchange gifts, go to church, go to my grandparents house to see my family, eat, exchange presents again, go home and sleep.

10.) When things break, do you prefer to fix them or replace them?

It depends on how broken it is. If its completely in pieces or is beyond my knowledge, I’ll replace it. Otherwise, fix.

Questions I would like to ask >

1. If you are an anime fan, which series got you into the medium?

2. In a hypothetical situation, you are forced to kill off one of your OCs and never use them again. Which do you choose?

3. Who was your first OC, and have your feelings on them wavered since their creation?

4. Which underrated series would you like to make more popular?

5. Which series would you say is severely overrated?

6. If you are a writer, was your first story a canon character-centric fanfic, an OC-centric fanfic, or not tied to any preexisting series?

7. Do you prefer subs or dubs?

8. You are given the opportunity to create a series for a company. The series can take any form (live action, animation, video game, comic, etc.). What would you choose as the premise?

9. For this previously mentions series, on what platform would you like it to be released? Such examples may be a certain TV channel, streaming services (like Netflix), popular comic companies, novel publishers, etc.

10. Which composer/band would you want doing the OST?

Fake Friends

1 min read
Copied from TUVGM

There are some people who are getting too fake here on DA. They only want posts, comments, or to see how many friends they can get. So let's see who will actually re-post this. This is a test to see who's paying attention. This is a test to see how many people on my friend list actually pay attention. Copy and re-post in your own bulletin. Let's see who the true friends are... Re-post this if you are a friend... Don't reply... Just copy and paste this in a new journal as "Fake Friends"

Been quite a while since I've been tagged. The last, and only, character tag I did was for Son Stocking, back in 2016. This time I'll be doing a similar tag, this time for her father, Son Zero. The one who tagged me for this is the same person who tagged me to review Stocking, our friend TempestVortex. So without further ado, let's review the rules and begin!

RULES
1. Post all the rules!
2. Post 8 facts about your character!
3. Tag 8 other people!
4. Post their characters names with their owners!

Facts about Son Zero:

1. Zero is an active member of the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom, as shown by his tendency to reference the game series. In a later chapter, he and Koozan directly, and briefly, discuss the game series. Zero simply believes the character to be cool, while Koozan hates the series for "ripping them off." This is directly linked to Crisis and my personal views on Sonic at the time it was written. I was a fan since childhood and was always nostalgia blinded by it, while Crisis would simply demonize the series for taking concepts like the dragon balls and super saiyan and implementing them into its own series.

2. In the DBX story, Zero is part of an organization known as the multiverse enforcers. They're essentially the time patrollers, but instead of fixing time-based anomalies, they are sent out to fix breaches in the multiverse, because when a multiversal jump is made without the necessary precautions, it could potentially cause subspace to tear their universe apart. This was directly influenced by the Archie Sonic comics' Zone Cops. The setting for the multiverse force is to be used again in another series I plan to make.

3. Said multiverse force is run by the Supreme Kai of the Multiverse, otherwise known as Taguchūteki, or Tagu for short. He is the brother of the Supreme Kai of Time, as the fruit they were born from grew on the same branch, as well as the ancestor of Zero. He bears a highly striking resemblance to the boy. He ended up falling in love with a human in the dragon universe, got her pregnant, but was forced to leave to keep the multiverse in balance. The supreme kai gene would remain dormant until someone who could manipulate ki was born into the family. This was directly inspired by the backstory of Raizen in Yu Yu Hakusho.

4. A drawing of Son Zero in his Enerjor Super Saiyan Three form was the first deviation to be submitted to my art gallery.

5. The series of DBX had started its pubication before the Resurrection F movie was released. Made before it was even announced, actually. So, instead of using super saiyan blue as the next step up after super saiyan god, we instead gave god multiple levels. Level 2 would be god with super saiyan mixed in, and so on. All these forms were the same color as normal god. To contrast this, Zero was given a different form that bears a resemblance to super saiyan blue. This form is known as Enerjor, and could be upgraded with Enerjor super saiyans 1-3, which are gained via energy consumption rather than raw emotions like super saiyan or the other levels of super saiyan god. This form was gained after he killed an evil version of Goku who gained the form from a saiyan raised by tuffles who got the form from an orb created by a dead tuffle scientist that wanted to create an artificial super saiyan god... Yeah, logic wasn't our highest priority with this story. And that's not even factoring in the blackhole paradox...

6. Because of his possession of Enerjor powers, Zero possesses an alternate persona within him known as One. One is the manifestation of his dark Enerjor instincts, yearning to break free and destroy everything. He is normally unleashed when Zero's negative emotions grow too strong. Essentially, he is the prototype of my RWBY OC, Kurai's, alternate personality, Azazel. The idea for a darker version of a character to be residing within them was a concept inspired (stolen) from Bleach, with the relationship between Ichigo Kurosaki and Hichigo Shirosaki.

7. There are three different versions of Son Zero. First is his DBX self, which is the most well known. The second is his GT self. Here, he is placed into the GT series and lives out the events. Others characters like Koozan and Page also make their appearances here. The last version of him is his Xenoverse self. This version is highly different from the previous two. He's a hot blooded youth who thinks he's hot s**t. He does calm down around his friends, and especially with Xeno Page, but when it comes to his enemies... They don't know what's coming.

8. Zero became the basis for my newest DBZ OC, Shotosk. Not to be confused with our descendant of Broly OC, who goes by the same name (Gonna need to change his name to something else at some point). Despite being a supposed revamp of Zero, the two share very little in common.

And there you go! Eight facts about one of my first OCs! I know the rule says eight people, but I find that to be far too many, so I'll limit it to three. I'm allowing tagbacks, too. I choose to tag:

Koozan with Daiken
TUVGM with Elan
Mirai-Digi with Tilla
